    Ovid Preview User Agreement

    This legal document shall constitute an agreement between Ovid Technologies, Inc. and the Customer named above for access to the Ovid Preview Demonstration system via the World Wide Web.

    Ovid Technologies agrees to provide access to the Ovid Preview Demonstration System. The Customer may examine the Ovid Application Software and Databases mounted on that system for a reasonable period of time at no charge to the Customer. The determination of a reasonable period of time is at the sole discretion of Ovid Technologies.

    The Customer is responsible for providing all necessary hardware, software, and Internet connections necessary to access the Ovid Preview Demonstration System, including, but not limited to, a workstation, web browser, and Internet provider. At no time will Ovid Technologies, Inc. assume responsibility for any expense accrued by the customer during their use of the Ovid Preview Demonstration System, including, but not limited to, communications access or similar charges from third parties.

    The Application Software and the Databases are for demonstration use only. The Customer may utilize the Application Software and Databases for the purpose of making a decision to purchase only.

    Every individual who utilizes the Application Software and Databases must fully and accurately complete the Ovid Preview Demonstration System registration process. Every individual who wishes to utilize the Application Software and Databases during more than one search session must fully and accurately complete the Ovid Preview Demonstration System registration process before each search session.
